Now before you get carried away in your own thoughts I am talking about Birmingham Life Drawing. The latest Birmingham Hen Party Craze to come to Stag and Hen Birmingham. The great thing about this class is you don't have to be a Picasso in the making you just need to be willing to have fun and enjoy what is front of you (so to speak). From start to finish the male models you will be drawing put you at ease by teaching you the basics and overall making sure you lovely ladies all have fun.

There really is no need to be embarrassed ladies if you are looking for a sophisticated option for your Hen Night but a giggle too, Life Drawing package is perfect for you. The classes involve a number of fun activities all revolving around drawing. It is a great chance to try something you might never have even thought of doing in the safety and comfort of knowing it is just for fun.

Life Drawing Parties are a unique and enjoyable idea for any Hen Weekends in Birmingham and a very tasteful alternative to the male stripper. Once you get over the initial blush  way to celebrate an special occasion, from a hen party to a birthday party. If you are looking for something more tasteful for your hen party or even a birthday party than the usual male stripper then this Life Drawing really is for you.

To add to the fun why not don your berets and draw on your fake moustaches and really go all out with your artistic flare. The added bonus you can take away your masterpiece at the end as a keepsake, but ladies I think I can honestly say you won't be forgetting this "activity" in a hurry!!

Like this activity then why not follow us on Twitter or like us on Facebook to find out about more of our fantastic activities.

Birmingham really does have something for everyone, from the calm to the exhilarating you won't go home from your Birmingham Stag Do or Hen Weekend in Birmingham disappointed I can assure you.

Most of of the activities we offer at Stag and Hen Birmingham take place in the heart of the Midlands countryside so you and your party can enjoy the great outdoors before you hit the great bars and clubs Birmingham has to offer. Where to start there are so many activities on offer for you to get your teeth into whether you fancy practicing your shooting skills with a spot of clay pigeon shooting or how about getting stuck into a bit of windsurfing were someone is guaranteed to fall in. Nestled in the heart of the midlands countryside 30 minutes from Birmingham city centre is the activity of offroad segway. If you've never heard of Segways, they are basically electric-powered personal transporters on which you can explore the countryside having huge fun into the bargain. After a bit of practicing to make sure you can actually steer and stop you and your party will take part in a Segway relay were you will go head to head to see which team can keep their nerve as you experience the feeling of hovering above the ground and make it to the finish line and claim the title of undisputed Segway rally champion (Or whatever you want to call yourself really).

How does a bit of male or female bonding sound? Raft building is perfect for any stag or hen party were everyone might not know each other. After you race against the clock to build something from barrels and ropes you then out your magnificent, indestructible raft to the test as you challenge each other to race across the river. Who capsizes 1st is all part of the fun and this activity is guaranteed to have you in fits of hysterics from start to finish.

There are so many activities available at Stag and Hen Birmingham that we couldn't possibly write about them all but visit us at Stag and Hen Birmingham to find an activity to suit your Stag or Hen party and let us do the rest. And if there is isn't something there let us know and we will see if we can find somewhere in Birmingham that will do it for you.

Apartment Vs Hotel

When planning any Stag or Hen Weekend in Birmingham you've got to make sure before you do anything! You find out where you are going to stay. There is so much choice these day's that just getting a room doesn't always cut it. Here at Stag and Hen Birmingham we like to help you make that decision by passing on some of our knowledge and then well the decision is all your's. So read on to find out which wins the debate for you and your one night Birmingham Hen Night or your two night Birmingham Stag Weekend, Apartments Vs Hotels.

Apartments - A relatively new concept to the Stag and Hen market but perfect for any group wanting to do a joint activity in the comfort of their own room, or just have a few cheap drinks before hitting the streets of Birmingham in the knowledge that you will all be sat together and that rowdy game of "I've Never" you really wanted to play isn't going to get you kicked out of any bars.
Apartments are self contained and can fit anything from 2 - 6 people in making it cheaper and also giving you the option to keep everyone together and not having to keep running next door to borrow the straighteners or aftershave. All apartments we use at Stag and Hen Birmingham are completed to a modern specification inclusive of all the latest technology including Plasma screen TV's, DVD players and docking stations (apartments vary) perfect if you want to get the tunes on before you go out.The fully fitted kitchen means if you want to cook before you all go out you can and if you just want a few snacks you can.
There is no greater way to get your Stag's and Hen's in the party mood then getting them all together for a bit of bonding in a comfortable environment, especially if a lot of them have never met. The communal lounges are like a home from home with added luxury. They really are great if you and the boys fancy a few games of poker or you and the ladies want your pre drinks served to you by a Butler in the Buff prior to going out, safe in the knowledge you want have to share or queue at the bar.
Apartments aren't for everyone especially if you can get a bit rowdy after a few too many as damage deposits are required for all apartments and it won't be money you want to loose. But if a great time in a fantastic luxury setting is what your after then take a look at Stag and Hen Birmingham and see what fantastic apartments we can arrange for you.

Hotel - The good old faithful, who doesn't love a good hotel room. You know what your getting, it's private if you just want a bit of peace before the madness starts and there's 24 hour room service on speed dial what more could you want for your Birmingham Stag Weekend or Birmingham Hen Party. The debate when it comes to hotels is what star rating do you want. At Stag and Hen Birmingham we offer a range of 3* and 4* hotel all which offer class and comfort, the question is what is your budget. With a hotel you know your going to get a comfy bed, a 24 hour reception providing toothbrushes and anything else you might have forgot in your rush to pack. Hotels are great for people who might not now the rest of the group as they can get ready without feeling rushed by others and there is only 2 people fighting for the bathroom. Even better someone else will cook your breakfast if you make it out of bed in time to eat it.
The hotel bar is a great meeting point for all your Stag's and Hen's to have a quiet drink whilst you all get to know each other without having to worry about shouting over each other and most of our hotels have on site restaurants allowing you to have a nice meal before you hit the town. Just don't go running up and down the corridors at 4am as you may well get a nasty knock on your door from the nights team or even worse a disgruntled neighbor in his boxers (Not always the best sight!)

Basically Birmingham has accommodation to suit every Hen or Stag party and at Stag and Hen Birmingham we are more than happy to help you decide whats best for you. Just consider your budget, what would suit everyone and what is going to the best base for your party, but let's be honest if it's a good weekend you won't be spending to much time there anyway!

Bottle of wine with the ladies? - Think again!!

At Stag and Hen Birmingham we always like to test out our activities to make sure we know what our Stag and Hens are getting and this time I have to say I really wasn't complaining at all.

Now my girlfriends are partial to an odd bottle of chardonnay on a Friday night as we catch up on the weeks gossip and plan for the weekend. So you can imagine their excitement when I asked them one Friday night to accompany me down to Revolution Birmingham for a lesson in Cocktail Making.

Located on BroadStreet an ideal location to start your Birmingham Hen Party, Revolution Birmingham is one of a number of vodka bars situated around the country where having a giggle is key and that is what we did.

In our group there were 8 of us so a 2 hour session was just enough time to fully enjoy learning how in my case not loose any of the alcohol and how Cocktail Making really is hidden skill we all have. (Well sort of)

On arrival your group are giving a sparkling cocktail followed by a shot to get you all in the party mood. Then the expert cocktail making bar staff entertain you with a bit of cocktail history before wowing you with their moves. Myself and the girls were then given the chance to wow the gorgeous barmen (I have to add) with our skills. Of which I am ashamed to admit were limited with a few. We were shaking those shakers like our life depended on it. Anyone watching us would have thought we had one to many cocktails that night.

To finish of the lesson we did the vodka train which I won't ruin the surprise by telling you what it is but a perfect finish to a fantastic couple of hours with my girls. We then walked away with a certificate as proof that next time we've had a few too many vino's and try to wow the fit guy at the party with our cocktail making skills we can actually say "Don't worry, I know what I am doing"

A perfect activity for any Hen weekend in Birmingham and not leave anyone out this really would be ideal for a Birmingham Stag activity to if you boys fancied learning a new skill to wow the ladies with.

After having a great laugh myself and the girls did however come to the conclusion we are going to leave the cocktail making to the sexy bartenders and just stick to drinking the cocktails. See what you think by checking one out at www.stagandhenbirmingham.co.uk

Weekend News

Here at Stag and Hen Birmingham not only do we like to give you insights into what can make a great Stag or Hen Party, we also like to ensure your weekend goes without a hitch. Every now and then something will be happening in the City that could affect your weekends festivities so we like you to know about it so to avoid any problems.

This weekend 19-21st October see's the return of The Bupa Great Birmingham Run. In its 2nd year with an expected 18,000 runners descending into Birmingham on Sunday 21st October it is bound to cause a bit of disruption if you are planning on getting out of Birmingham centre following your Birmingham Stag Weekend or Birmingham Hen Night. Passing by some of the most iconic sights in Birmingham, including The Bull Ring, The Cadbury's factory and Edgbaston cricket ground and finishing on Broad Street (somewhere after your Saturday night escapades you might be familiar with) this run really does effect most of the city. If your not in a rush to leave the city then why not pop down and cheer on some the runners, if screaming and cheering might just be a bit to much for your delicate head then have a look at the attached race route map so you can avoid the key areas and get back to own bed as quickly as possible.

Just a little something for the Hens

If you have any last minute bits to get or you really haven't had enough of wedding fayres or you just want to kill a bit of time before you head home then The Hotel la tour is holdings its wedding showcase this Sunday. Located on Albert Street in the city centre near to New Street Station this luxury 4* Hotel is worth a visit for a nice girly finish to your Birmingham Hen Weekend. And lets face it girls everyone loves a freebie.

Don't worry stags you've not been forgotten!

Not wanting to come across as only thinking about one side of our parties, there is of cause something going on this weekend for the guys. Should you want something to do prior to the nights festivities or something to help the hangover pass from Friday, Birmingham City take on Leicester City at St. Andrews kick off 3pm. Or if you haven't got any activities pre planned you can always get straight down to the pub to watch Saturdays games unfold. Our personal favorite being The Queens arms Newhall Street showing both Tottenham vs Chelsea at 12.45pm and Norwich vs Arsenal at 5.30pm.

We will aim to keep you posted whenever there is anything worth knowing going on in Birmingham.

Have a great weekend from all the team at Stag and Hen Birmingham

Lazy Sunday

So your Birmingham Hen party or your Birmingham Stag Weekend is nearly over. You've drank yourself to a point where you may already have uttered those dreaded words "I am never drinking again!!!!" But you and your Stags and Hens don't want the amazing weekend to end. Well fear not Birmingham has everything you could need for a lazy Sunday afternoon, before you make your way back to reality and the Sunday evening blues really kick in.

Now before you read on lets be honest after the success of your Birmingham casino night - Yes gents "The names Bond James Bond" was quoted several times to the Beer wenches supplying you with copious amounts of Whiskey. And Ladies maybe after downing one too many sambucas from your Butler in the Buff's Butt cheeks not all of your party may be up for this. But let me tell if you fancy a little bit of a laid back end to your crazy weekend then Birmingham has it all.

The Mailbox

Opened in 1998 following a redevelopment of  the former Royal Mail Birmingham City Center sorting office. The Mailbox has become the UK's largest mixed use building and Birmingham's premier shopping and lifestyle destination. With exclusive stores such as Hugo Boss and Emporio Armani and waterside restaurants and cafe bars with cuisine from around the world creating a sophisticated and relaxing atmosphere The Mailbox is ideal location to clear away the remains of any hangovers still around from your Birmingham Stag or Hen weekend.

Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery

Fancy something a little more educational by way of balancing out the outrageous kid style activities you attempted to engage in yesterday afternoon prior to the drinking? Why not pop down to this spectacular Victorian building located in Chamberlain Square home to the UK's largest independent museums trust and take in some of the many exhibitions from around the world ranging from arts and crafts to history and culture. An added bonus to this slightly different way to spend a lazy Sunday is its Free.

These are just two of the many things to do in Birmingham and not just on a Sunday. If you still have life in you and fancy carrying on the weekend with maybe a spot of afternoon tea or a sailing trip to blow away the cobwebs we can sort that for you. Head on over to www.stagandhenbirmingham to see what other gems Birmingham has to offer.

We look forward to helping you come up with more ideas to clear that hangover

Dancing in the City

When thinking about what to do on your Hen Party I always think it is so hard to try and please everyone. Not everyone is a drinker and not everyone is an adventure junkie. So what are your options? What do most if not all girls love to do in one form or another? Dance of course! With a wide range of options guaranteed to get even the shyest of your friends practising her moves ready for the evening’s festivities dancing is an ideal activity to start your Birmingham Hen night.

With a wide range dance styles available to you below is just a snippet of what you can expect when choosing to dance in Birmingham.

Pole Dancing

Ever dreamily stood at the bottom of the little stage in your local night club wondering what it would be like to elegantly cascade around that pole, or worse still flung yourself drunkenly around it and hit the floor with such a bang that the only male attention you got was from the bouncer as he threw you out. Pole dance lessons give you the chance to safely learn how to become that girl that can make any husband to be wildest dreams come true. With instruction from highly qualified teachers Pole Dancing classes are sure to make even the clumsiest of your friends transform briefly into a Vegas Showgirl with a certificate to prove it

Salsa Dancing

Picture the scene your sat at home having a girly Saturday Night in watching Strictly Come Dancing wondering how amazing would it be to sway your hips and give the stars a run for their money. Salsa dance lessons give you and your hens the chance to do this. With a 2 hour session you’re given the chance to learn to Doable solo or dance with a partner. After learning the skills Birmingham many Salsa clubs give the chance to show off your new moves.

If these dances styles don’t get your feet tapping then why not tell us what you and your hens really want to do. Hen Weekend Birmingham gives you the chance to arrange a bespoke dance class suited to the desire of your group.

Regards
